Selintra Power Surge Clean-up and SAIL-2.1.11-214
« on: June 17, 2006, 10:52:00 AM »
Hi all,

Downloads are back on-line at ftp://81.149.154.14

Wiki is back online at www.selintra.com/docs

Wiki in PDF/Manual format is on-line at ftp://81.149.154.14

2.1.11-214 is available from the download site ftp://81.149.154.14.  This is a pure maintenance release but we would recommend you apply it since it fixes an agi buffer-overflow greenie we discovered last week.

Main website is back up at www.selintra.com and our on-line VoIP store is now live also at https://sslrelay.com/s158404295.oneandoneshop.co.uk/

Kind Regards

Selintra

We assume you mean the free version of the SARK ".iso" and not "FreePBX" (which we most certainly can't help you with ;-) )

To be honest, you already have it.  The .iso is little more than sme server with sail and asterisk included.  The "free" version is identical to the commercial version, the only difference being that we support the commercial version (and the free version has "UNSUPPORTED DEVELOPER RELEASE" plastered all over the splash screen).

However, if you're still interested or you want to offer SARK/SAIL to your customers (with support from us) then drop us a line at admin@selintra.com

yes.  I'll put it on the list. Look out for it in 2.1.12. In the meantime...
Code: [Select]
rpm -q selintra-sail

We already do it internally.  Not sure when/if we'll put the repo up publicly tho'.  Do you think it's a good idea to possibly allow a phone system to automatically apply updates?

Yum is still not an auto update feature ... it just lets you know if there are any updates ... ppl don't have to update if they don't want to.

I just thought it would benifit ppl that way as they don't have to always look for updates in various locations.

When ever I do updates it's always after hrs ... I'm sure most ppl tend to do updates this way in production environments.

It was just a question ... maybe more ppl would like to comment on this ... maybe others wouldn't like it as a yum update.

Maybe setup the repo ... and let ppl configure ther yum.conf manually to set your location as an update area ... that way ppl who would like it as a yum feature can enable it.

I have done that for things I get off Dungog.

Regards,

Tib.

OK mate; - We'll have another look at it.  -214 is the final 2.1.11 release (barring maintenance) so we'll put it on the list for the 2.1.12 series.
