DNS/DHCP options when running sme 7rc3 with sbs server

Hi, the subject might not make sense as i tried to reveal all of my questions.
The question i have is how do i make SME give out a internal DNS server that is running on a Windows 2003 Small business server?  Right now SME is hooked to a cable modem externally, and to a switch internally.  The internal IP Scheme is 10.0.0.X where SME is 10.0.0.1 and the SBS is 10.0.0.2.  We just got done setting this up and the problem we ran into is the DNS server SME is handing out is itself.  Which normally isnt a bad thing at all, but in order to join the domain and authenticate correctly SBS needs to be the dns server for the clients.  I modified the Primary corporate DNS server     and it shows the following "Primary corporate DNS server    10.0.0.2" yet still when a computer requests a ip, both DNS servers given out are 10.0.0.1 not the 10.0.0.2 that i specified.  This particular setup was not bad since there were only 5 client pc's that had to be manually set, but i am afraid that with some of my other clients that have 20-40 pc's it would get really old changing each and every one.  I did a search in the bug tracker for dns and corporate dns and found no listing.  Has anyone else found a work around to get this to work, or am i the first one who has needed to set it up like this.  Everything else is working perfect.  VPN, Port forwarding, Updates, just the dns/dhcp issue.
Thanks for your input.
Andy

The simplest approach would be to disable DHCP on the SME Server and enable DNS, DHCP & WINS on the SBS, with the DHCP server handing out the SME server's IP as the gateway and the DNS server pointing either at your ISP's DNS or, preferably the SME server for Internet name resolution.
