Hi all,

I'm newbees under e-smith.

I've got a prob with my ISP (wanadoo.fr).
I'can't send mail via "entourage" on mac.

I've tried to declare my isp's smtp adress in the server-manager
and configure my "entourage" smtp with "mail.xxxxxx.xxx".

Entourage send the mail without error, but when check imp serveur mail, my isp return 553 or 554 error and relaying denied .... and no mail were sent

There fore how to use my "standart" isp's smtp server and not use the e-smith smtp???
or have you a solution to help me?

I'm not sure i can help, but i use e-smith 4.1.2 and entourage on the mac. however, i don't use e-smith as a mail server (just as a router & file server). so, i simply configure entourage to use my isp's smtp server. and obviously, i set the mac's tcp/ip to DHCP (or at least point at e-smith ip as the router address, if setting manually). no problems - i use it all day, every day.
