Topic: Backup2 Jobs fail

I raised a bug report on this back on 6/21/2006, but no action there yet:

I used backup2ws to migrate to a clean install of SME 7rc3. Since the
restore I have been unable to get backup2ws to work again. I uninstalled it
(including rar) and installed the updated backup2 contrib using yum localinstall downloaded from here:

I still have a problem. I setup a test job to backup just the Primary Ibay.
When run the backup.log looks like this:

The folder is created on the target PC, so I assume that means there are
appropriate permissions. There really are files in the primary ibay. The SME
messages log has this:

I got similar results testing the 911 job. Anyone have any ideas?

I've raised a bug on backup2 too. It seems the C++ libraries in 7.0 FINAL are not compatible with the 'rar' RPM distributed as a part of backup2. That may explain any crashes or odd errors, especially if you are doing a forced install (I have not been able to install it in the first place, and have no intention of forcing it against the dependancies).
