I've done a bit of searching and I'm not finding answers to my questions about the email on SME 7. The manual glosses over the first question and doesn't seem to cover the second one at all.
1) When I choose the "Bounce..." option for email to unknown users, does it reject the email during the SMTP transaction or send a failure message to the from address in the header ? The later seems a bit rude as the headers rarely reflect the actual source of spam/viri these days.
2) Among the features listed for SME 7 is optional filters rejecting email during the SMTP transaction. I can't seem to find a list of the installed filters and which ones are enabled. There was a nice thread on the 'early talker' filter before the forums were reorganized but I can't seem to locate it again.
I suspect I'm just not using the correct terminology in my searches. Any help here would be appreciated.
