Topic: Shared Calendar

Hi Group
I'm looking for a group calendar that we can use on SME.
Weare currently using vtiger but find things too "clunky" and there's way to much stuff in there for just a calendar.
Is there better suggestions?
We also sync it with out look and that feature is important.
Any input is appreciated

JB is one of the developers of SME and he stated that he will look into Horde 3.1 after the final release of SME7.

Horde 3.1 has syncing capabilities (http://wiki.horde.org/TitleSearch?referrer=TitleSearch&page=TitleSearch&params=sync) and support for SyncML which should be syncable with the sync4j plugin for outlook.

I gotta clarify this. I am not smart enough to be one of the core developers of SME. I don't know enough perl. I understand a lot of what's going on, but I still have to dabble and hack my way until I have success. I have taken what Greg Swallow initially started with the horde add-ons and built upon them. You can have a shared calendar if you use the webmail interface with Kronolith. If you have the need to use outlook, then you'll have to wait until the move to horde 3.1. I have yet to look at horde 3.1 and don't really know much about the syncing capabilities, but it looks like there should be more than enough people that are interested to help with testing and providing feedback when I find the time to begin looking at it.
