If you truly want to help others don't play games give the information freely and compleately without reservations. If there is a link to help then give it. If there is not a link then give the best and complete answer you can without other comets that are not needed!
Each person offering help should not feel or feer that there are giving bad information because that information work for them. It may not work for everyone.  But it still dose not make the information wrong everytime!

  Having a bad day?  If you think someone is sabotaging people on the forum, let's confront that as a community.

  There are a few annoying things about any forum you visit.

  1.  People who are experienced blowing off newbies.
       "Why don't you use the search button"
  2.  Newbies who don't search.
  3.  People asking for help... but making their post unreadible (length)
  4.  People believing the forum is paid help.
  5.  People not saying thank you.

But I don't often see people trying to sell their help.  Is that happening?  Where?

I personally don't have anything towards you. I don’t even know you or who you are.
But I do know when someone comes to a forum like this their here to gain knowledge or help. And to be told certain things. That is totally inappropriate.
I think I have been vary civil.
Where I do come from is the only stupid person is a person that doesn’t ask questions if they don’t know the answer. That why we have forums to ask the questions. So all can learn from others that have more experience and or more knowledge.

By the way I paid for the CD for the program and information that is on it, nobody gave it to me. To gain more knowledge

I have meet some truly great people on this forum that are willing to help others if they have the time And I know that there are others that would be willing to help others. But there afraid to be called names or make them look stupid. By the tone of your words. And you call that civil.

The state of mind that would lead to your being outraged that a developer doesn't make himself available for "private consultation" via email is simply amazing.  What entitles you to special treatment?
