Topic: Horde locale Hebrew

Does anybody know a way to enable Hebrew locale on Horde ?
It used to be there by default on Greg Swallow's contrib and now its gone with mrjhb3 contrib.

Also when i used Greg Swallow's contrib for Horde on SME7 i could log-in to a Hebrew GUI but there was a problem trying to add contacts barring Hebrew (with Hebrew characters) names - the result was something like "????????" instead of "אמיר".

Any ideas ?

I have just found a solution for the 2nd problem i mentioned (the "???" characters shoing instead of the Hebrew characters) :

I logged into horde as admin, went to the setup console.
At the "databse" tab i changed the Internally used charset to windows-1255 (the hebrew charset) instead of iso-8859-1.

No more "??????" !
Ah yes - the only thing is that i had to re-enter the contacts and calendar tasks to regenerate them with the new charset...

Can someone please dirrect me to find the translation file for Hebrew (po) ?

You should log a message on the bug tracker (on the LH menu) against the contribution.

This way the developer of the contrib will see your message and may be able to help you get the locale you need.

Please don't log a bug.  Search first.  Here is a link to the horde archives,- http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=imp&w=2&r=1&s=hebrew&q=b.  It appears a Hebrew translation is available in 3.1.x, but doesn't appear to be avalabile on 3.0.10 or 3.0.11.  I'm not sure how or if it was available with the RPM's that Greg did, because those are the same ones I am using except with the most up to date horde versions.

I didn't post a bug since it is not a bug - it is something i don't know how to do - thats the reason i asked for help in the forum.

I will look into the link you have posted to see if i can apy the Hebrew translatio.

I have no idea how to do that.  SME 7 is running horde 3.0.10, and soon 3.0.11.  I suggest you join the horde list and post your question there and if you get an answer, test it and if it works with no adverse effects, then  a NFR should be opened to get it incorporated.
