How to find what's using up my hardrive
« on: July 07, 2006, 02:27:39 PM »
I was trying to use tar to backup 30GB of data in a couple of ibays. Eventually it encountered an error and stopped. I decided to use the backup2 contrib instead. I noticed that after the failed tarball that my hda3 is now just about full. Now I get Internal Server Error from everything in Server Manager. I assume tar wrote a temporary file someplace. I looked in /tmp and didn't see anything large there. How do I find all files above a certain size, like anything greater than 1GB?
