« on: July 20, 2006, 02:01:30 AM »
HELP  :-o

I must be missing this!!! How to I setup a multidrop box for domain emails to goto one user account - like

Two domains on server:
- nos4-a2.com
- alt-networking.com

all email for nos4-a2.com goto one user account
 - also if there are other users for nos4-a2.com can goto them

any email for users on server for alt-networking.com goes to them.

Note: setup like domain management contrib on SME 6.X from dungog

Thanks in advance...

Doyle

You should be able to do this with pseudonyms

Have a read of the explanation of how pseudonyms work in server manager, I think you will find that you are able to redirect mail as you require.

From Server-Manager:

Pseudonyms also allow you to create e-mail aliases for valid (virtual) domains & users. For example you can forward "sales@virtualdomain1.com" to user "mary" and "sales@virtualdomain2.com" to user "john". You must create the domains and user accounts before creating the email aliases.

What I need is:

*@virtual-domain.com to user1

When you do this and send a email to anything but user1 @virtual-domain you get an message saying user account does not valid....

--Hi. This is the qmail-send program at nos4-a2.local.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
