I discovered the answer to my own question.  You have to (in the web mail interface) tell it which address book to use via the "Options" link.  I have noted that the "options" link is context sensitive to wherever you might be within webmail - ie; if you're in the address book and you choose "Options" - you get to tweak stuff that is relevant to the address book.

For the subject though - make sure you are in the "Inbox" and then go into "Options" | Other Options | Address Books.  Then highlight "My Addressbook" and move it to the right hand pane, then down at the bottom of the screen at "Choose the address book to use when adding addresses" select "My Addressbook"

Done.

Howdy all - just installed v7 final and am really happy with it.  I do have (a few) questions, but one I would like to ask here (because most of the others I have had or still do have I've been able to find by looking / searching) is this:

In v6.01 and earlier versions, using a web browser to access webmail, and viewing an e-mail - there used to be a little "book" or some such icon next to the senders name that you could click on to add that sender to you're address book.  I'm not seeing that in the newer version of horde running on v7.

Am I missing something?  I've looked through the various "options" settings within the webmail interface, and have done some searching here in the forums.... alas - I'm posting here 'cause I have yet to find and answer.

Thanks folks!
