Deleted user saves files on disk
« on: July 29, 2006, 11:17:52 PM »
Have anyone come accross this phenomen ?
I have looked on the user's quota on server-manager - it showed 740Mb while on Horde's pannel - the user had no mail - not even on the junkmail or trash folders.
I have also checked the home directory of the user and it was empty.

I have deleted the user, confirmed it on the server-manager pannel and re created the same user.

Surprisingly i have found the same 740Mb occupied by the user on the server-manager pannel.

Should i report this as a bug or can anyone explain this ?

Tnx.

You might find that that user still owns files contained in i-bays.

No - no i-bay files either.

Could it be a harsware problem ?

seems to be the same

for very few users I found some files on user mail folder /cur
that happen for some users
other users don't have anything in any folder
but the server-manager quota exceed even the total bytes from user
folders and samba user folders

(du /username)

No I-bay
No roaming profiles

any suggestion will be welcomed
