Topic: MyODBC?

I need to setup a Web Application Server, namely MySql. I author in Dreamweaver UltraDev and need to be able to connect to the server to test database functionality. UltraDev uses ODBC connections. Does anyone know if MyODBC works under SME Server. And if so is there anything our programmer needs to know or is it straight forward.

(I'm just the webmaster, we have a linux guru who is in charge of all this stuff.)
