Mail incoming/outgoing not working
« on: August 09, 2006, 04:48:34 AM »
Since the 7.0 upgrade my incoming/outgoing mail does not work, internally or externally. Not sure if this is related, however, in console mode an error continues to scroll down my screen. It reads:

Invalid command 'RequireSSL' perhaps mis-spelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration. Syntax error on line 1110 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

Using vi, I commented the offending line and the error returned on line 1030. So I commented out all the 'RequiredSSL' lines, however; this only stopped the eroor message from appearing. Because I changed the line to the file directly, a reboot refreshes the httpd.conf file and the error returns.

Any help understanding this issue and resolving my mail problem is appreciated.

Thanks!

John

John, this is a very old bug, if you search the bug tracker it will show a fix.

Your mail problem is not related, so you should again search bug tracker see if your mail problem exists if not then please open a new bug explaining what you see or don't see happening i.e have a look at logs and give us a full history.
