Hi

On version 6,5 off SME the iptraf did remember all the descriptions

Ethernet/PLIP Host Descriptions

On Version 7 final it wipe the var/run/iptraf/ethernet.desc

On every reboot y need to put the file again because is wipe out

You will need to create a template file, directly editing file will as you see replace it every time you reboot.

Thanks for the replay

But I belive that the SME is no like backwards walking creature ....

On version 6,5 it work perfect you modify the descriptions and will stay
do no mater if you reboot or what so ever.

Where I can look to modify this ??

Version 7.0 has alot more major changes than 6.5, but have a look here on how the templating works...
