Virtual Server 1.0 + sme 7.x - Unable to acces guests
« on: August 23, 2006, 04:36:26 PM »
Running SME 7 final in server mode. Installed Virtual Server as instructed in the howto. Configured a virtual machine (guest) with bridged networking. From the guest I am able to acces the local network, but I am NOT able to acces from the localnetwork the guest.

My gues is that the firewall rules are not set to enable this.

What is the best method to enable acces to these virtual machines (no port and protocoll restrictions)?

What is Virtual Server 1.0 and what howto are you referring to?
Do you really mean VMWare Server. In that case the management port is 902 by default, but whatever you enetered when running vmware-config.pl
