well it installed, but now when I try go to my server-manager it gives me an error sayning.

Code: [Select]

now I don't know where the log is I checked /var/log and couldn't see anything. and also what did I do....

specs...
fresh install of sme7
global address book contrib from muhammed

That contrib was for V6 ... I don't think it will work with V7.

Somewhere in contribs there is a compatability section where I think you will find that the contrib is listed as broken for V7.

My sugestion would be to uninstall it and see if that brings your system back online.

If the rpm is named
smeserver-ldap-contacts-0.3.1-01hm.noarch.rpm

You can do
rpm -q smeserver-ldap-contacts
to check if it is installed

then to uninstall do
rpm -e smeserver-ldap-contacts

(without the numbers on the end)

I tried that, so then I really screwed it up, thinking...if it doesn't think it's installed lets force an install and then remove it.....yea...it was dumb. but it didn't seem to destroy too much more.

I think a reload of sme7 is in the stars for me.

while I'm here talking is there any plans that you guys know of to get a global address book going ??
