Traffic graphs in SME v7
« on: September 17, 2006, 07:15:42 PM »
Hi there

As a long-time Smoothwall user, I want to know if there is a way to display traffic usage and statistics via a web page on SME v7, especially a graph which shows traffic on RED and GREEN.

Hi,

there is a contrib called 'sme7admin' available which monitors various resources and system services and does very nice graphs. I would give it a try.

There is also ntop that is very well setup for what you are after.

There is a guide in here ... just do a search on ntop.

If you can get rrd-tool,mysql working id suggest cacti.  Cacti has some pretty nice features for capturing snmp based traffic and might just do the trick for you.
