Based on that no it will only show one processor, you could try booting the SMP kernel, read that other thread for more info.

Should it show two processors if it is dual core?

I think there may be a bug in the update process. I believe that this server on original install showed 2 processors (but cannot remember for sure). If the yum update process is clobbering the bootloader and changing it back to the single processor version it would be hard to catch right off unless you were just looking for it.

I will raise a bug on it if you think that could be what is happening.

I would have said so as it is dual core.

Have a look and see if there isn't a bug then raise one, as it could be and make sure you enter everything you see or don't see happening

Byte,

Thanks for your help!!!

SME does recognize a dual core as two processors. I have been using sme7admin contrib to show system usage and ever since the last update I have been hitting 98% utilization on my processor at the time my learn as spam script and virus scanning runs. (before the upgrade I was using around 55% for these tasks). Anybody that is running multiple processors needs to have a look at this to see if they have been affected.
