How to add daily reboot to cronjob
« on: September 22, 2006, 08:52:49 PM »
I'am currently having som problems where my 7.0 rc1 installation goes crazy every second day or so. The result is heavy activity on the harddrive making it impossible to access mail, webserver og admin tool. The only way to solve it is to manually reboot the server. Then it works okay for a day or day.

The plan is to upgrade the server to the newest version of 7.0, but due lack of free time, I need a temporarly solution.

How can I add a daily reboot to cronjob?

I know I have to put at file in etc/cron.daily, but I am not sure of the right command etc to use

Any help would be appriciated

Could use...

/sbin/e-smith/signal-event reboot
