e-smith is working fine, but
« on: February 10, 2002, 06:23:56 PM »
hi all,
e-smith is working fine, but I have now a big problem :(
I have change the userdir parameter in httpd.conf from public_html to home/public_html. But this doesn't work, I have restart httpd(I hope this is the correct daemon).
A another Problem is that the httpd.conf is overwritten sometimes, what must I do that the Userdir Parameter are set correct, and now overwritten with the old value?

And the third problem, before I my server-software to e-smith I has use SuSe 7.3, my Users has had there IMAP Foldes in there homedirectory, now are several Directory for the IMAP Folders, how I can convert now my old IMAP Folder to the new IMAP Folder?

Hi,
I have now read the manual for changing the config files, this works now :)

But the problem with the UserDir isn't gone away, I get the Error 403 :(
I need the UserDir, because several Users of the Server runs her Homepage over his user account

I have do it, but this doesn't work :(

Must the directories have a special user/group?

Is there are anywhere who use the userdir?
