I apologise in advance for the lack of knowledge I have in this area. Our technician chose this week to get married and hence is not available.
Our school runs an e-smith server for the staff. the server downloads the email from our ISP and then makes it available, via webmail, to staff using their login and password.
The problem is that our ISP account was unpaid so the ISP cut us off for a day or so. Now they have allowed us to reconnect and so we have Internet access on the LAN through our server again. But, when we point our browser to our internal webmail page it returns an error saying the server might be offline. Trying to access the e-smith admin page also gives the same result.
I suspect that while we were offline the server tried to receive email from the ISP, it failed, and a spanner flew into the works. Can anyone help me extract the said spanner?
Thanks.
