Topic: Install CD can't find install CD. WTF?

As topic... When I boot the install cd it mounts my harddrives, lists the cdrom drive and floppy, but after I select language and keyboard layout, it tells me that it can't find the packages to be installed. When I then point it at "local cd-rom drive" I can hear the cd-rom speading up and being accessed, but it still claims that it cant find the packages.

Have tried two different CD-roms.

Did you do a media check once booted CD ?

On my install cd it asked if I wanted to do a media check before it went into the install routine.

Did you check the MD5 sum on the ISO?

Or maybe you have installed with one of these CDs before and know that they are good??

There is when you boot off CD the first screen will be the media check.

Not sure which CD you have then as the latest install CD ask's for a media check first.

I downloaded the "smeserver-7.0.iso" from here: http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/releases/7/iso/

And the first screen is language selection on that disk. Tried downloading it and burning it again, same thing.

Anyone got a link to a known-to-be-good iso? This one is obviously not all that good...

Anyways, the ISO I downloaded from you guys in Australia is working like a charm - Media Test is the first thing that pops up. Its checking as we speak in a Dell D620 laptop. Looking forward to using it  when I get home!

...where I actually happen to have a couple of Fosters in the fridge, alongside some Carlsbergs. Too bad that serverconfigs and alcohol go so bad together.
