Hi,

When I do a desktop backup, the total size of the backup is 932 KB.
The E-Smith Manager tells me the backup should be 106 MB ???
When I verify the backupfile, everything seems to be allright. No errors.
Can somebody explain me the big differents.

This is a known bug. The way they are estimating file size can cause a big difference. Don't worry about it.

Hoi Jan-Willem,

The 'predictions' of the size of the back-up are estimated by a cenrtain calculation.

It will not be the same but will give you a idea so you can consider it.

It is a nown issue that the 'prediction' is not alway as precise as 'we' want it to be. It was promised that it would be looked over in a next update.

For now, take the 'manager' suggestion as 'real' so you will be not surprised.
