Hy

I would like to know what is the difference in eAccelerator and mod_deflate.
I installed both and would like to know if it's a good think that i have them or they both do the same thing and i can delete one of them.
"It should just work" if it doesn't report it. Thanks!

Please clarify which of the following applies:
Installation of mod_deflate with eAccelerator is OK?
Installation of mod_deflate with eAccelerator is NOT OK?

You install witch one you want.

If you want to speed up php script execution, install eaccelerator.

If you want to optimize output bandwith of apache server, install mod_deflate.

If you want to make optmize bw AND php script, install both.

THERE is no link between those contrib !

Thank you, I have been using both contributions for some time.
Your previous message introduced some confusion (language).
Your contributions are much appreciated, my thanks;~)
