Topic: IE7 Problem accessing server manager

When I try to log on remotely to server manager I get an error saying problem with website certificate but if I click to continue then I get an error You don't have permission to access /server-manager on this server - I guess this is because I do not get the pop up box to log in.

I have switched off pop up blocker and played about with security settings but no joy - it was working in IE6

It should quite well be possible to access your server manager with IE7. At work I am able to access the server manager on my SME box at home.

From what you describe, it seems that the ip address from which you are trying to access your server manager from, is not allowed to access your server manager remotely.

On the remote location check your external ip address (for example go to http://www.whatismyip.com and check this with the list of ip addresses at "Remote access" --> "Remote Management".
