WA has just introduced Daylight saving on a 3 year trial basis so the default NTP zone file is now incorrect.

A new zone file has been built & is available at http://matt.ucc.asn.au/time/

Read the readme file for installation info

Reboot is advised

Will post a bug for the developers so it can be tracked.

A tzdata enhancement, with updates for Western Australia, is now available.

The tzdata package contains data files with rules for various timezones
around the world.

This package contains updated version 2006m of timezone data. The changes
herein include updates for Western Australia DST rules. Upgrading this
package is optional for other users.
