I installed SME Server and it is really great! But i ask myself a few things:

Who is SME Server Inc and why is there something like sme server inc.
Why isn't there a homepage listing all the information a user might want instead of 3 Pages (sourceforge, contribs.org, smeserver.org ...)

How much developers are working on sme?

A handful on the core distribution, and a larger number working on contrib packages. See the bugzilla bug tracker for more details.

Why is SME server inc an non profit "incorporated" company instead of a Foundation?

looks like sme server inc isnt doing much ... contribs are made by the community and sme server inc is the company that will provide "SME Gold Partners" and stuff when sme gets mor interrest by system administrators.
