When I upgraded to 5.1.2 from 4.1.2, most all the permissions changed on the CGI scripts that were running. Upon saving a backup and reinstalling 5.1.2 from scratch, then reloading the backup, the permissions were again in need of attention (changed again). Is there a permanent change that can be made prior to a backup that will keep the permissions in-tact in the event of a need to reload from the backup??
