These first updates load the newer version of yum and associated programs and also add the Centos base and updates repositories to the standard / enabled repositories. Turning these off will only lead to unpredictable updates.

I only see the CentOS repos becoming visible but not enabled. This does not seem to affect the upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1 .

William

IF I give advise.. It's only if it was me....

I've gone back and read the the bugzilla & other comments, and you are correct.

Base & updates are made available (but not enabled) in an upgrade.  Whilst a clean install of 7.1 will have them enabled by default. I had enabled them manually myself.

Gordon recommends that they be enabled, but they weren't 'reset' on an upgrade to ensure that other packages etc. installed were not upset.

Chrille, what you did actually worked. I had to restart the machine at least twice after the updates and now everything works fine and faster and better.

It also now says 7.1

Thanks bunch.

My spamassassin is no longer working and I haven't entered it into bug tracker yet wondering if someone else is having the same problem.  I didn't enable any packages after the update.  How do I do that?

Thanks.

I also get a lot of errors in admin-email:

html>
<head><title>Horde :: Fatal Error</title></head>
<body style="background:#fff; color:#000"><h1>A fatal error has occurred</h1><h3>kronolith is not activated</h3><h3>Details have been logged for the administrator.</h3></body>
</html>

I updated with the downloaded 7.1 iso.
Did I also forget to select the CentOS RPM's or is there something else wrong?

Freek

Hi EdelingF

I had the same messages and I found out I had to update kronolith, since the other Horde products (in 7.1) is updated with 7.1

:)

I just checked my RPM's and kronolith doesn't show up?  I didn't update by the 7.1 ISO route.  Can I just load the 7.1 ISO over my installer update of 7.1?

Hi smeusr,

I'm not that good at this, but I didn't do an iso upgrade.

I checked the files for kronolith on my server and since there are newer ones I suspected that this was the fault.

I read this thread http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=34191.0

and upgraded Kronolith and now there aren't any error mails.

:)
