Topic: Where is 7.1?

Hi all;

OK, either I'm dense or there is a problem. I've been able to download the new SME 7.1 iso from ibiblio, but my installed SME 7.0 is showing no available updates in the server-manager panel or on the CLI doing a yum update. Reading through the various pertinent threads by gordonr it seems that I shouldn't have to do anything but wait until the updates pop up in the server-manager panel. The only contribs I have installed are dmay's rsync and dar. Someone care to point me in the right direction?

I think the way it works is firstly we wait for the mirrors to be rsysnced (potentially takes the first day), and then we wait for our own server to run the daily yum cron job to see if updates are available (potentially takes the second day). This may not yet have happened on your system, so as advised just wait.

When rc1 was released I did..

yum --enablerepo=smeupdates-testing update
Then for the final it was..

yum update

I think there was 200 odd files going to rc1 and 4 files going from rc1 to final.
