Please help, I am having two problems:
DNS or HOSTNAME ISSUE:
1. The domain of my sme-server7 is the same as my website so I inserted a remote domain for
www.mydomain.org in order to redirect the web to the outside IP address. The browswer brings up only part of the site since it appears I also need to redirect mydomain.org for which Admin doesn't permit me to do. (I must enter a prefix of 'www' or 'ftp' but not '') I have tried entering e-smith...hosts manually and also placed a redirected web page in for e-smith...index.htm but to no avail. Any thoughts or suggestions?
LDAP ISSUES:
2. I need a way to edit my LDAP directory such that not all of the users and/or groups appear by default. I have printer groups that don't need to be in the email address book for instance. Also, I would like to be able to edit LDAP by user such that each user may have their own LDAP addressbook for use with horde and/or Thunderbird.
HOWTOs?
setup and manage greylisting and whitelisting for qmail on sme-server
setup and manage vacation auto-responder for qmail on sme-server
setup server backups to local DVD/RW drive instead of tape
Any help would be much appreciated as these are the issues preventing me from rolling sme-server out throughout my office. Thanks!
