Thanks for mirroring subversion but I don't think it is neccesarry to mirror my contribs as they are on the contribs mirrors since a week.

Maybe it is a good suggestion to make it a yum repository using createrepo (and perhaps repoview) so users can configure it to use it with yum.

How do you keep the versions up to date and in sync with other locations?
Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than its worth ~ Baz Luhrmann - Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)

I don't think partial mirrors are particularly useful as they will quickly get out of date. If you are able to provide a full-time, complete and reliable mirror, please list it here:

http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2088

But, please ensure that your link is really up to the task. There can be a *lot* of data downloaded from our mirrors during updates.

If you are able to provide a mirror, we'll contact you and organise for automated updates.

Even better would be to work towards getting the packages into the (about to be created) smeextras repository so that all servers can see them without special configuration:

http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2249
http://bugs.contribs.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2245

You will also get automated failover between the mirror sites.

We update the repo on the mirror master and then it will appear on all our mirrors within a day, probably a few hours in the normal case.
