ProxyPass error ??
« on: January 24, 2007, 02:28:44 PM »
I have added proxypass. But when I add anything I get errors.

Here is what I mean.
I click ProxyPass under configuration.
I click "Click here to create a new ProxyPass virtual domain entry"

Beside:
Available Virtual Domains:
There is nothing there. eg the drop box is empty. (Im not sure this is important but I just tell you this)
Next I put in some ip address. eg http://10.1.0.251/
Next I press create.

A message comes up saying This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?
Yes / No / More info.
I press Yes.

Then I get the error message

The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings. etc etc.

It seems to keep what I entered because when I click ProxyPass again its there . But then when I click modify and then it opens and I click modify again I get the same message. Like the html is broken.

Can anyone provide me with any advice on this.
Regards

I gethe same message if I try to Modify the entry.

By the way my version is
smeserver-proxypass-0[1].0.3-1.noarch.rpm in install I had to rename it to something else eg a.rpm becasue of the [1] in it, I dont presume that had anything to do with it.

Do you have virtual domains setup in your system, check the Domains panel ?
You can't create this type of entry without having & selecting a virtual domain. You are using proxypass to redirect requests for the selected virtual domain to another URL, so you must be able to select a virtual domain or it will never work, therefore the errors (??).

That is a download "issue", your browser is renaming the file, you should save it with the correct name of
smeserver-proxypass-0.0.3-1.noarch.rpm
...
