I have an SME 7 server that has dialup access. The modem attached via COM1 is a Hayes Smartmodem Optima 288 V.34/V.FC+Fax. The server has been configured to use the modem and it will dial out fine. The problem is that after connecting/disconnecting a ew times (I have not determined an exact number of times) the modem locks up. The OH light stays lit but no activity occurs. If I power cycle the modem and use minicom to reset it (or power cycle it and reboot the server), it will connect the next time it need to. I have using the following init string AT&FW2&C1&D2&K3&Q9S7=60S46=138S48=7S95=47 Does anyone have any ideas of something else I can check or try to keep it from locking up? Thanks in advanced........
