Topic: user can't login

Hi

I am runnning SME 7.1.
I have one user, who can't login to e-mail.
And if i try to log in by SSH, I get this:

Could not chdir to home directory /home/e-smith/files/users/pha: Permission denied
-bash: /home/e-smith/files/users/pha/.bash_profile: Permission denied
-bash-3.00$

Anyonen know what to do??

When I installed the server, I created the user manually (adduser), but now I need the user with E-mail/ftp. So I deleted it, at added in the server-manager. But i can't use it.

Found out that ownership of home dir was not correct. It is know working
