Topic: egroupware - mydms problem

Hi guys
im running sme 7 , from a local install no problem but i cannot use the mydms upload

ive greated folders off root no problem but when i try to upload i get this

"Adding document "UserManual.pdf" to folder "Test1"...An error has occured"

ive chmod the files/mydms etc to 777... any suggestions

the install method i took was classic egroupware , create an ibay drop the files , setup mysql -

any suggestions

this may/may not be relavent but my install of yappa does not allow uploads either !!!

Hi,

Usually the uploads uses the /tmp to store the file during the upload and then copy it to the final destination once the file was successfuly uploaded to the server.  Check the documentation for mydms to confirm.

If it is, then search the forums for allowing access to the /tmp dir (search on Basedir) or configure the mydms to a directory within your ibay for temp files.

check the logfiles /var/log/messages for hints on why the upload failed.
