server-manager 500 Internal Server Error after update PHP5

cjclaro

Maybe a different cause but the same error

hey guys,

i got the same internal error but only when i tried "moving" the 3 files from the /etc/e-smith/web/panels/manager/html.  and when i put it back, i get the internal server error.  i gave all files full permissions when i put it back into the same directory.

what could be the problem? im using SME 7.1.

thanks for your help.

Code: [Select]
signal-event post-upgrade
Code: [Select]
signal-event reboot

cjclaro- this was response to the previous post before yours.

I don't know what files you 'moved'.  But bad things happen if you fiddle with the wrong things whilst logged in as root

i tried the codes but they didn't change anything, craig.

it sure is a high price to pay fiddling the system as root. :(

it was a simple moving of files: header.htm, index.cgi, initial.cgi.

is there any way to reverse this?

thanks,
