IRC DCC Send

hi all,
I have problems to send files via dcc send in the IRCNetwork. I think this is a problem with the firewall. I have search in google for ipchains and irc, I have found that I must load the module iq_masq_irc.so, but insmod isn't on the machine(or I haven't found the file).
What must I do to send files via IRC? This is very important for me.

I'm using SME 5.1.2 at home and I can send and receive files using DCC without any problem (ip_masq_irc.o is already loaded), and without doing anything special on the SME box or on my XP Pro client running mIRC.

Has you change your mIRC configuration?
I have here a XP Home client with mIRC, I can receive files, but I can't send files.

I think I didn't change anything (I'm using mIRC 5.8)....
You chan check that, in the Local Info 'tab', Normal is selected as the Lookup Method, and that 'Local host' and 'IP Address' are checked in 'On Connect, always get :'

'Local Host' and 'IP Address' edit boxes should be left blank.

Hope this helps

Franck.

Only use port 6667 to connect to an IRC server. This works for me
