SME Server 7 and Firetrust's Mailwasher Server

Installation follow-up.  My SME Server 7 / Mailwasher Server combo has been running for just over two months.  The is a great combo, just watch out for any SME updates.  DO NOT install updates on your production systems, try them on a test system first and run it for a week or so.  This will save you from an uninstall and re-install of MWS.  Don't forget to use the FirstAlert service.

For the install, use the instructions for RedHat and QMail.  I'm still in the learning mode but the combo looks and feels great.

MWS is open source and a free download.  There is a FirstAlert service addon that's very cheap in price.  MailWasher Server integrates with existing mail servers to process all incoming messages before entering the user’s mailbox. Using a multi-layered approach to identify spam. MailWasher Server provides a combination of algorithm, connection filtering and content filtering to provide a robust approach to solving an organization’s spam problem.

Check it out over at www.firetrust.com/en/support/mailwasher-server.

I like the combo.   8)

The spamassasin and Bayes filter work without a problem with 99% efficiency. And i can upgrade my server at will.  8)
"It should just work" if it doesn't report it. Thanks!
