Backup to Desktop
« on: March 22, 2007, 05:47:03 PM »
We have several new SME 7.1.2 boxes, and one of them appears to be trying to do a full backup when I use the "Backup to Desktop" option in the server-manager.  I really don't need a 16gig backup... I'd much rather just have the ~70meg one for the config files and such.

Anyone know what I need to do to get it just backing up the config files and such like all the other ones do?

Move the ibay files or use DAR.
"It should just work" if it doesn't report it. Thanks!

At the risk of sounding noobish:  what is DAR?

Is there any way to exclude one or more ibays from the "Backup to Desktop?"

You could move it to the /tmp directory BUT don't forget to move it back as it may get removed on clean up of the /tmp directory or better off create your own /temp directory.
