ok, ive had a look around for this and found some stuff by my knowledge is mininal on how to actually do these things

i updated sme to 7. and i dident remove the old spamassassin stuff like i was supposed to, now i cant update it and it dosent seem to work properley.

if someone could give me a howto (set by set please) on how to fix this problem or redirect me to something that does tell me it'd be most appriciated.

im trying to convince my work to keep this e-mail server insead of changing to a windows one but its hard when i dont know much about it. it just runs well and its easy to do things through the webpage.

You'll need to give us some more information before we can give you 'step-by-step' instructions

- What spamassassin stuff did you fail to uninstall?
- What, exactly, isn't working now?
- What happens when you try to uninstall the old spamassassin stuff?
- Are you now using 7.1.3?
- Have you run any of the SME 7.x spam filtering setup procedures?
- I'm sure I've left something else out that we'll need eventually...
