Mine runs fine after I ran the code

rm -f /var/run/sme7admin.pid

service sme7admind restart


I did stuff up the test server one buy doing a restore of the whole system ... all I did there is uninstall sme7admin and then re-install it

rpm -e smeserver-sme7admin

 yum --enablerepo=smedev install smeserver-sme7admin


After re-installation all runs fine.

I have done all those thing, and re done them, and done a clean install. End result is still the same. I can only see the data in the window presented and cannot zoom in or out of that windows using the commands.....

I got these errors while installing:

Install those rpms. Checkout the installation howto on the authors site.

OK - I found an [announce] thread for the sme7admin contrib which has a reference for authors documentation
