I already did a quick check. Realtek doesn't seem to offer ANY driver whatsoever for the 8102 chipset. I don't think that implementing this as a seperate driver youself is an option then. Inclusion in the kernel is maybe possible when the developers have more possibilities as you and I.
But, from my point of view... ditch the board since you are already calling it a crappy board and get 1 that's fully supported by CentOs4.
