Squid returnning old web content...
« on: March 05, 2002, 03:20:32 AM »
Hi,

I have a strange problem with 1 perticular web site.

For some reason, when this perticular page gets updated with new content and I go and look at this site with Internet Explorer on a Win2k machine, Squid returns me the old cache content and not what is actually on the web site...

  This is the Squid log:

Andre,

I don't know why it does this, but how about adding a blank character "" to your swap.state file and that should clear the cache and force a reload of all your web content.  Do a search on the phorums for 'swap.state' and you will find several posts which will tell you how to clear the cache (swap.state) file.
