webshare can't use Mozilla Sunbird
« on: April 16, 2007, 11:26:31 AM »
Hello,
I just installed webshare.
In the server-manager i create a webshare "test" with indexer "Full"
i add a user "user1 with pass "pass1"
when i connect ok
https://my_domain/webshare/test

I can create file, rename, delete

I would like to use webshare to share my calendars (agenda) using Sunbirds clients.
but the calendar open in read only mode, can't publish new events.

The file in the webshare directory is with permission 600!

Someone knows how to solve this problem and use webshare for my calendars?

Thks for your help

You can't open and then save to the file. It doesn't work that way. You have to download the file, edit it and then save it so this isn't such a good idea to share calendars.

Did you check horde caledar?
Kronolith
The Kronolith calendar provides a robust web-based calendar for any number of users or groups, with the ability to show any number of calendars in a single overlaid view. Users can create any number of calendars and grant read, edit, or full permissions to any user, group, or any combination thereof.
"It should just work" if it doesn't report it. Thanks!
