Topic: Netatalk user authentification method

Hello,

By accessing the sme-server in the Chooser of my Mac I get the following message:
"The User Authentication Method required by this server can't be found. Please check the Apple Share Folder in the Extensions Folder an try again".
How to configure the SME Server to set the authentification method compatible with my mac (MacOS8.6)?

Now I've found the post of Marianol in the thread "Macintosh user authentication", where he recommend updating to AppleShare 3.8.8 and kindly also present the source: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60792
This has helped, and I had not to alter the netatalk.conf-file any longer. This I can learn later.
