Hi!

I have an SME 7.1 running behind a firewall. So, the SME has a 192.168.0.*-IP. The primary domain is "localnet".

I would like to send the administrative mails to an e-mail addresse "outside", e.g to an account of gmx.net.

I have the following problem:
The smtp of my provider does not accept the mails. The sender of the mail is e.g. user@localnet.localnet.

How can I map the send-address to a valid address? e.g. to an addres accepted by the smtp of my provider?

if you are not using the sme server for local mail, you can set up the email server in the sme email configuration with the smtp address of your isp.

You can't. If you want to send email on the Internet you'll have to have a valid email address. Configure a real domain, not a bogus one.
