Topic: VPN Firewall Issues

I have an existing install of 7.1 behind a Sonicwall tz170.  VPN into the sonicwall with either vpn client software or connecting from other office using vpn router, I cannot connect to samba shares on SME server.   Am able to connect to all other network printers and shares, just not to SME.  Has anyone else run across this problem.  My first inclination was that I had my sonicwall setup incorrectly.  
The SME server is running in server only mode and vpn service is handled by the sonicwall.

You have not provided enough information. All you have stated relevant to SME is:

1) SME 7.1 in server-only mode behind a SonicWall TZ170.
2) can't connect to SME shares.

That tells us very little about your entire network/VPN setup. Also nothing about how you are attempting to connect to SME shares and what results you get when you try.
