Hi All,

I am having problems getting onto the selintra docs site, so I am asking the questions here I have set call recording to one touch in globals but I am unsure how to start it recording Do I press 1 or #1 during the conversation and finally where do the recorded calls end up. Thanks in advance.

Ok, the selintra docs is now back up and it seems that it is 1 to start the recording, but I still cannot find out where it is stored  Any one willing to point me in the right direction  Thanks.

Hi Del,

The recording is supposed to end up in a directory called "monitor" in  Primary/files.  I say "supposed" because I think that OTR is broken (at least, I can't get the damned thing to work).  

Sam was very cagey about how this thing worked - I know it did at one point but no-one's ever used it so it may have been broken along the way.  Look in features.conf to see what the keypress is - I think it's usually *1 but at one point I know they changed it to simply 1.

If it isn't working then I may have to tar and feather someone in the morning

Still,...  the kids look forward to it.

Hi Selintra,

I have tried pressing 1 and *1 but nothing appears in primary/files/monitor So maybe you will be tar & feathering someone  Does it matter what version of sail I am running? I se from this post: http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=36849.0 that I am running older rpms than you suggest.
This what I have installed:

selintra-sail-2.1.14-339
smeserver-asterisk-1.2.10-1
smeserver-asterisk-zappri-MPP-1.2.6-1

Should I upgrade them? If so can I just do rpm -Uvh or do I need to rpm -e the existing ones first? I have not bothered because they work OK and except for the OTR it does everything I want

No reason to change if it does what you want Del. Sorry about theOTR, we'll get around to looking at it for you.

If you do want to change,  the best way to install a new sail release is with yum. Do

yum localinstall sailrelease --enablerepo=base

The reason for the repo is that some of the later releases drag in other rpms.  And no, you don't need to rpm -e your old release.

We've not done any work on it Del so it won't have changed.  Unfortunately it's a long way down the list simply because we've got so much to do.
